AWE has experience in supporting governments, industry and businesses to meet the challenges posed by climate change through the delivery of sustainable solutions that maximise benefits for our clients and communities. 

We have delivered a range of climate change and sustainability projects that review climate impacts using vulnerability and risk assessment frameworks to support adaptation policy and planning.  We have also contributed to projects integrating climate resilience and adaptation strategies into industry policy for water, biodiversity, agriculture, energy, infrastructure and resilient communities.

Our capabilities include climate change adaptation planning (i.e. assessing risks and vulnerability, identifying and assessing adaptation options, and implementing, monitoring and evaluating options), drought management, flood risk assessment and catchment management for climate change adaptation.
