AWE has a strong track record in providing strategic drainage and stormwater management advice to infrastructure and land development projects.  We support clients in addressing challenging water management issues by applying our experience in stormwater modelling, floodplain modelling and mapping, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and climate change adaptation to provide sustainable solutions from concept design and master planning through to detailed design and design documentation.

Our team has extensive experience in developing best practice drainage and stormwater designs that embrace WSUD principles.  Where practicable we also utilise green infrastructure systems to create sort after liveable spaces.

We also have significant experience in flood assessments, flood management and flood damage estimation.

We are familiar with the challenges of working in sensitive areas and balancing the requirements of regulators, community expectations and environmental impacts with the need to support growth and deliver superior project outcomes.  We are frequently called on to secure a cost effective pathway through often demanding environmental, political and social project constraints.  We are known for our capacity to deliver sound engineering outcomes in sensitive areas through effective negotiation, engagement and consultation with communities, as well as local, state and federal agencies.
